Service Tiers Information There are now six service tiers available on the MendoNet System. Pick the one that best suits your needs for your enhanced Internet presence. Please look at the examples below.

Overview
One common thread among the six presence tiers, is that presence features are inherited to the next higher tier or tiers.
For example if you upgrade from Tier 3 up to Tier 5, you don't loose any Tier 3 features; they are inherited to your Tier 5 presence.
Tier One
This is a free service and the listing is generally kept within its respective directory until the listee has been offered and declined an upgrade to a higher tier three times. The time varies from directory to directory, but this generally takes about two years. Effective 5 July, 1999, free listings will added for non-profit organizations only!

Tier Two
This tier anchors tier one, and is formatted to be distinguished from the free listings with bold type and centering. More importantly, tier two includes your phone number and/or email link in the listing. If you don't yet have a web site, this tier will get you in the game.

Tier Three
Tier three is our original linking service. In addition to 1 and 2 above, tier three will link to your site from within the MendoNet System in the appropriate directories. Clients linked within the "Places" directories such as Bed & Breakfasts, and the Real Estate directories, will have five links programmed within the system, including two from "mouse driveable" image maps of Mendocino county. All links point to one gateway page which automatically forwards your client to your web site. The gateway page is where your traffic, or "head count" is taken. ALL traffic on the system is logged, and those logs are posted.

Tier Four
Beside incorporating all inherited features of tiers one through three, tier four significantly enhances tier three with the inclusion of a photo/graphic in your listing. Preferred size is 150 wide by 120 high. The frame is created via programing. Your choice of photo will be pulled from your site and processed to bring it into specification. The graphics generally run about 4k to 6k when they are processed. Graphics processing is included in the set up fee. The graphic can also be pulled from your site in real time. Tier Four also includes a Book'em Dano! Auto Responder with the packge. Please see the Book'em Dano! page for further information about this MendoNet exclusive.
Tier Five includes all of the above, Plus our exclusive Book'em Dano! Mailing List Management Program which also has Three Auto Responders built in! Please see the Book'em Dano! page for further information about this extremely powerful and valuable communication tool. Book'em Dano! is only available through the MendoNet system.

Tier Six
Tier Six is our flagship hosting service. It includes all of the above plus hosting your web site on the MendoNet system.
New sites, old sites, and mirror sites. This is a truly Global Presence hosting service, connected to the planet with redundant connectivity with FIVE Internet backbones.

You don't need to spend time becoming a networking expert to appreciate the significance of this. The demos will speak for themselves, as they will demonstrate the same graphic being downloaded from the MendoNet server, and its twin from an existing web site somewhere else. Click on a few of the demo pages and you will get the picture, so to speak. If you have visited any of these sites recently, you will need to clear your caches to get an accurate demonstration.
Server performance, backbone connectivity, and professional graphics processing DO make a significant difference in how fast Your Site gets to your viewer. So if you are really tired of glacial downloads, then here is a viable and affordable alternative. Even as a mirror site, Tier Six is an economical back-up insurance that you can always be found on the World Wide Web. By design, the system feeds ancillary traffic to anyone who is on it. The traffic is already here for you if you want it. Tier Six will do it for You!
