SHOJI PANELS
Standard
All basswood frame construction using blind mortise and tenon joinery with
a gird on one side of a translucent fiberglass insert which is glued and
stapled to the backside of the frame. The economical choice where only one
side of the panel will be viewed such as a wall covering or a replacement
closet door. This panel is available in both 80 inch and 93 inch heights
and in 5 standard widths from 24 through 48 inches. From $15 per square
foot. Clear satin lacquer finish.
Custom
Specify the wood to use and we will handcraft, using mortise and tenon
joinery, a shoji panel or panels to your exact specifications. These shoji
feature a grid on each side of a translucent fiberglass insert. This is
the choice when appearance is of prime importance on both sides. The grid
on one side is removable for easy replacement or cleaning of the
fiberglass insert. Unfinished. From $20 per square foot. Clear satin
lacquer finish.
System
These units are fully assembled and ready to set into your wall opening.
These shoji are constructed to the same exacting specifications as our
custom shoji and are mounted into a framework consisting of upper and
lower sliding rails, side panels, and exterior trim. Set this system into
the opening, level and square it, then attach it to the opening with the
supplied screws and shims. From $25 per square foot. Clear satin lacquer

SHOJI SCREENS
Standard
Using all basswood construction these screens incorporate the same blind
mortise and tenon joinery as our panels and consist of a grid on both
sides of a translucent fiberglass insert. Several screens can be hinged
together to form an attractive room or area divider. These screens are
available in two standard heights, 60 and 72 inches and are 17 inch's
width with a choice of six grid patterns. Custom sizes and grid patterns
are also available. Unfinished. From $20 per square foot. Custom sizes
available. Clear satin lacquer finish.
Landscape
These water resistant screens are 24 inches by 60 inches and are ideal for
exterior use in gardens, on patios or decks. They are constructed of
clear heart Redwood using exposed dowel joinery with a grid on both sides
of a fiberglass insert. Great backdrop for garden or greenhouse cultivars
or to accent those special plantings. Two redwood stands with brass and
stainless steel fittings can be used to position the screen horizontally
or vertically. Finished with long lasting Penofin exterior redwood finish.

EXTERIOR LAMPS
These shoji lamps are custom constructed from Western Red Cedar, clear
heart Redwood or Basswood, your choice, to your exact specifications.
These garden lamps and lanterns can be used indoors or out of doors,
depending on finish. They are an elegant way to light your path to the
tea ceremony house or as a boarder for patio or deck they are used free
standing using candles or can be placed over existing "Toro" style
electrical garden lighting. The wall and ceiling lamps are used as a
cover for existing electric wall and ceiling fixtures these lamps and
lanterns provide the perfect accent for home and garden. Electrical
fixtures are available. From $95 . Penofin or clear satin lacquer finish.
ANDON LAMPS
These traditional styled lamps are available in cherry or basswood and are
available in three standard sizes of, 24 inches, 36 inches and 48 inches
in height. All joints are of blind mortise and tenon construction with a
translucent fiberglass insert and grids on all four sides. They are
complete with all electrical fixtures except the bulb. They provide the
perfect touch for any room. From $150. Custom lamps available. Clear
satin lacquer finish.
